Causes of static electricity
1. Carpet tiles have poor hygroscopicity, the static charge should not be discharged when people walk on the untreated carpet.
2. The indoor humidity is low.
There are generally two methods of anti-static; first, adding a hydrophilic antistatic agent to the carpet tile to increase the moisture absorption and conductivity of the carpet tile; second, adding conductive fibers to the yarn to increase the conductivity of the carpet.
